Hi Folks

What a debate Connecticut viewers had last night between Senator Lieberman and Ned Lamont.

If you had a chance to view this one and only debate between the candidates it seems Ned Lamont came out strong in the end and here's why.

He was attacked by Lieberman a few times throughout the debate and reponded calmly and directly on the issues from Education to the War in Iraq.

Senator Lieberman was for the most part on the defense on his past 18 years in the Senate.

What I found interesting after the debate is the post debate polls from a number of varied sources.

All of which had Ned Lamont way ahead in the 80-90 % range and Lieberan in single to low 20% at most depending which polls you viewed.

Senator Lieberman is in trouble in this Election and Primary.

My feeling is Ned Lamont will get the grassroot Democratic voters and former Lieberman supporters with the Party will vote for Ned Lamont aswell.

Even if Senator Lieberman runs as an Independent he will end up losing regardless of it becoming a three way race.

Ned Lamont did extremely well against this Senior Senator
