Democrats Should Vote No On Iraq War Funding

This is the year of change according to our Democrats in Washington.
Connecticut Democrats should support Medical benefits for those Vetrans that come back from Iraq to Connecticut and other States of our Union.
The peoblem is it was attached to a War spendings bill for a failed war policy that the Democrats say they oppose.

Maybe I am not getting it.

How can you be opposed to the Bush War and then turnaround and vote to continue the funding of such a War?

The Senators of our nation and those Democratic Senators from Connecticut to California need to answer to the people they represent if they voted yes as to why they did.

I believe its time to have Democrats run against any Democrat in Connecticut or any other State that voted Yes to continue .

Congress a few days ago did this "A long-delayed Iraq war funding bill sailed through the House on Thursday, along with historic increases in college aid for returning troops and help for the unemployed and Midwestern flood victims.
Republican allies of President Bush provided the winning margin in a 268-155 vote to provide $162 billion to fund U.S. operations in Iraq and Afghanistan well into next year.
Democrats opposed to the war, however, succeeded in using the Iraq funding bill as an engine to drive past White House resistance a sweeping revision to GI Bill college benefits and a 13-week extension of unemployment checks for those whose benefits have run out.
Lawmakers separately approved those domestic add-ons by a 416-12 vote, sending the combined bill to the Senate for a vote next week. The White House issued a statement supporting the legislation.
The measure also provides a quick $2.7 billion infusion of emergency flood relief for the Midwest, though more is expected to be needed to deal with the major losses in Iowa, Illinois and other states.
The bill would bring to more than $650 billion the amount provided by Congress for the war in Iraq since it started five years ago. Nearly $200 billion in additional funding has gone to operations in Afghanistan, according to congressional analysts."

So some of the voting was good except for the War Funding part which now is in debate within the Senate.

Its time for the Senate Democrats on the War portion of this Iraq War funding to vote no.

With people losing their homes and the Economy falling apart and the high cost of Gas .

Its time to stop funding the Iraq War Now.

I suggest everyone call their Democratic US Senator and tell them to vote no on funding the Iraq War Bill.

Ned Lamont Should Run Again

Ned Lamont has been active since Lieberman beat him for the Senate seat and its time for Ned Lamont to run again for the US Senate .

He is still young enough and talented enough to make a comeback and win the next US Senate Primary when it happens again.

Ned Lamont knows what the issues are and how they are affecting everyday people from the Environment to the War in Iraq.

He is honest and has the leadership that Connecticut needs .

Lamont was screwed by the Lieberman Campaigns dirty Politics .

We know how that Politician operates and operated to steal the election .

Ned Lamont still has a very active website its about time for those of us who supported Ned in the past to start a campaign to get him to consider running again for Liebermans Senate Seat.

The website is http://www.nedlamont.com/ .

Ned Lamont as many know endorsed Senator Barack Obama for President .

When Senator Barack Obama becomes the next President it would be nice to see Ned Lamont run and Obama this time around come to Connecticut to help Ned win the Senate seat.

Ned Lamont represents the Progressive values that many Connecticut Democrats hold today.

email Ned and lets get the ball rolling for the next Senate election.

Lets have a new US Senator from Connecticut that will vote with the Democrats and be part of the Change we seek .

Ned Lamont like Senator Obama is Change we can believe in .

The Joe Has To Go Movement

Senator Joe Lieberman has got SenatorWatch fed up with him for good .
I am serious when I say its time to kick the bum out of office he does not share Democratic values of the grassroots of the Connecticut Democratic Party and whats with WPLR FM Chaz and AJ Morning show C0-Hosts always bringing Senator Lieberman on the air like he is part of the family .

WPLR FM 99.1 when Lamont was running against Joe Liberman gave Joe anything he wanted .

The Chaz and AJ show has constantly even this week been in bed with Joe Liberman and did a broadcast from his office in Washington D.C. interviewing connecticuts Represenatives and an Interview with Vice President Dick need I say more .

Senator Leiberman gets anything he wants from chaz and AJ in the Morning.

When Senator Lieberman needs a favor he knows what Station to depend on.

I would suggest WPLR stop giving Senator Lieberman a free ride .

Granted Chaz and AJ are entertainers and comedians not Politicial Talk show hosts .

Still should any Politician have that close association with a Morning show or the media in general?

The Joe has To Go Movement is you and me and all those who were ripped off by the Senator who left the Democratic Party and became a Turncoat a Republican Neocon with an agenda against the Democratic Party and the core values that it stands for .

I am fed up with Senator Lieberman and WPLR 99.1 's Morning Show from day one for not being tough on the Senator and former Democrat from Connecticut .

Call WPLR and protest the morning show for not be objective with Senator Lieberman and giving him a free ride everytime he comes in their studio or talks by phone.

Not to get sidetracked here but Joe Lieberman is the one man that needs again to be watched closely in Washington on how he votes and who he hangs out with now.

Lets make bumper stickers that say Joes Got To Go and lets get the Anti Lieberman people on WPLR's Morning show with Chaz and AJ the next time they invite Joe on the air equal time for the Joe's Got To GO Movement a Grassroots movement and Idea who's time has come .

Lieberman Its Time for Him To Be Throw Out of Office

Its time for Senator Joe Liarman I mean Lieberman to be throw out of office.
Those in Connecticut who can remember what Lieberman did after he lost the Connecticut Democratic Primary to Ned Lamont should not organize to have the bum thown out of his Senate Seat for good.
His attacks on Senator Barack Obama were totally out of place.

From Cnn News"Obama had backed Lieberman in the 2006 Democratic Senate primary in Connecticut. After he lost to Ned Lamont, an anti-war candidate, Lieberman defied party leaders and ran as an independent in the general election. Leading Democrats — Obama, Dodd and Kerry among them — then backed Lamont. Lieberman was re-elected with support from the GOP, including praise from the White House and fundraising help from prominent Republicans."

Lieberman is on the strings of the GOP and the Neocon have him in their corner now.

Liebermans support of Senator John McCain is not an Independent thinker its a Republican supporting a Republican.

Senator Joe Lieberman wants you to think he is Independent but he supported President Bush on his War policies regarding the Middle East and the War in Iraq, and now shows that he truly is a Republican helping McCain on the campaign trail.

Senator Joe Liar Lieberman is a crook and a disgrace to the word Politics.

Joe Lieberman needs to be Impeached and thrownout of the Senate.

He got his Senate seat back with dirty politics and those of us in Connecticut who were involved in the Democratic Parties Progressive Wing know this is true.

When people around the country ask how could Connecticut vote for Joe.

Understand he lost the Democratic State Primary.

So I say lets start a movement folks the Joe's Got To Go Movement "

Senator Lieberman Time for Impeachment

Its time for Senator Joe Lieberman to Resign or be impeached now.
Today Lieberman called for being prepared to attack and bomb Iran.

He will tell you Iran is the cause for Iraq's problems when in fact President Bush and those in Congress and the Senate caused the War to start not the Iraq people .

The Middle East has alot of problems but being prepared to create more unneeded conflict is the wrong message to send to the world and to Iran.

Its time for Senator Joe to Go.

This is what Senatorwatch is suggesting that an online petition be started to call for Joe Lieberman to be throw out of the Senate and that a special election be provided for the people of Connecticut.
Its my observation that Senator Lieberman has lost his mind completely .

He bullied his way back into office and now again showing he true colors as a Right Wing extremist in his words.

Violence Senator Lieberman is violence no matter who starts it its wrong.

Your call in the media to prepare for Battle with Iran is the last thing our government needs to do.

The American People are fed up with the Bush War in Iraq and Senatorwatch is fed up with you as a non Representative of the people of this state.

Its time for you Senator to depart politics you no longer can represent the will of the people of this great state and our nation.

Impeach Senator Lieberman now and also protest at his office in Connecticut and Washington D.C.

Everyone reading this should call his Washington office and tell them that they disagree with the Senator with your phone in protest calls and actions.

If you forgot the Senators phone number in his Washington D.C. office its (202) 224-4041.

That's our view of Senator Joe who now has to Go.

Lieberman Supports More Troops and Money IN Iraq War

Here we go again Senator Joe Liberman when he won against Ned Lamont said he got the message about the Iraq War and bringing the Troops home.
Well folks Lieberman only got the message to regain your votes to get the Senate seat back and the power that goes with it.
As I have said we are watching Senator Lieberman on what he does and how he votes .

Lieberman supports Bush's Speech to deploy more then 20,000 more Troops into arms way.

This was his comment after President Bush Spoke .

“I applaud the President for rejecting the fatalism of failure and pursuing a new course to achieve success in Iraq. There is no more difficult decision that a President can make than to send our nation’s bravest soldiers and patriots into harm’s way. Yet, no objective is more worthy in defending America’s vital national security interests than aiding a struggling democracy and supporting brave moderates who are in a life and death struggle against totalitarian extremists supported by Al Qaeda and Iran.
Our troops have sacrificed much and now more will be asked of them to defend our nation. They fight in a just, noble and moral cause against the forces of terrorism, and their sacrifices will make America and the world more secure. I want our troops to return home as soon as possible – after we allow, enable and support them in accomplishing their mission in Iraq in finishing this fight.
I know there are deep differences of opinion about what the President has proposed tonight. In the coming days and weeks, we should undertake respectful debate and deliberation over this new plan. But, let us also remember that excessive partisan division and rancor at home only weakens our will to prevail in this war. I am particularly pleased that the President has taken the important and necessary step of creating a bi-partisan Consultative Group consisting of representatives and leaders of the Executive and Legislative branches to address issues related to the war against global terrorism.
At the moment, we and our Iraqi allies are not winning in Iraq and the American people are understandably frustrated by the miscalculations, the lack of progress, and the daily scenes of violence and casualties. But, make no mistake - defeat in Iraq would result in a moral and strategic setback in our global struggle against Islamist extremists who seek to strike our interests and our homeland.
Success is attainable in Iraq, and tonight the President has offered a comprehensive program to chart a new course in both winning the military struggle to establish order and in achieving the political and economic objectives to build a more promising future for Iraqis. However, no progress is possible unless we restore order, particularly in Baghdad.
Tonight, the President did not take the easy path, but he took the correct and courageous course. We are engaged in a world-wide struggle against Islamist extremism, and Iraq is now the central front. It is a dangerous illusion to believe that we can depart Iraq and the inevitable killing fields and terrorist violence will not follow us in retreat - even to our own shores. That is why it is right and imperative that we recommit ourselves to success in Iraq. Weakness only emboldens our enemy, but united resolution will make our nation safer for generations to come.”

These comments above show how little Lieberman listed to the voters during the Mid-Term elections .
So now its time to protest at lieberman Hartford HQ and also get involved with United For Peace and go to Washington D.C. for what is going to be one of the biggest Anti War Rallies and Protests in 2007.
You can find local chapters by following the link SenatorWatch as added http://www.unitedforpeace.org

The failed policy of the Bush administration which Joe Leiberman supports and the Bush War is a good reason find a way to kick Liberman out of office he does not belong there in the first place.
Its time for a change of course in Wshington D.C. and the first change is Impeaching Bush and throwing Lieberman out of the Senate for starters.
Joe Lieberman represents himself and his special interest groups.
Will be watching Joe and what he says and how he votes on issues that affect you the voters of this country .Stay tuned things are just starting to get interesting.

Ned Lamont For President 08

Well everyone is writing something about what happened on Election day.The truth is that Lieberman only won because Connecticut Republican Party and the national Republican Party flipped and supported Lieberman .Joe only got about 25 % of the Democratic Vote in Connecticut which says alot.
Ned Lamont won in more ways then Lieberman knows Ned sparked a movement a Vote For Change in Connecticut and the rest of our nation.
The fact that all the attacks on Ned and newspapers that endorsed Lieberman saying Ned did not have Liebermans experience .Its that experience Joe has that was and will be the problem in Washington Politics as usual.
If Ned reads this or his staff I think Ned should run for President of the United States .He has great ability to lead, speak and give our Nation the direction we need on Alternative Energy ,Educational Reform, Campaign Reform, the Environment,War and Peace issues ,World Political issues, and above all can work with other countries to solve problems not start them.
The Democrats that might run for office many of them voted for the Iraq War Ned Lamont was always opposed to going to War with Iraq .
Ned Lamont should be drafted by the Democratic Party to run as there Candidate for President.
Ned would have been a great Senator but he will also make a great President .So let it be said here lets start a National Campaign to daft Ned for U.S. President in 2008. Its Neds lack of Pac money from lobbyists that make him the right choice in 2008.The people will decide show Ned you support him for President in 2008.Ned thankyou for starting this spark and this is only the beginning.
